Summary of project
Client is a preventive genetics healthcare startup company currently being incubated at and funded by Emory University. The scope of work is to develop a GTM / commercial strategy by establishing a fact base that will inform all the strategic decisions we need to make. Helping to gather the data and research to form the business plan as well as model building based on the research. Including: • Products evaluation (carrier, cardiac, cancer genetic tests) TAM by channel, pricing data, expected margins by channel • Channel evaluation, TAM of products and strategic fit (DTC, providers, employers, partners, hospitals) - comparison of economics • B2B Customer segmentation • Modeling: Product/service TAM/demand modeling, revenue projections • High level pricing models to compare products and channels • Knowledge of payer landscape would be helpful. • Value Chain: Helping evaluate where the company should sit in the value chain
Profile of consultant
• Person has a business consulting background at a top firm, and has worked in the medical / healthcare space • Understands the healthcare landscape, market access, channels, insurance, etc. • Knows how to put a GTM strategy together by building a fact base, gathering market data and customer insights, and pulling it all together into a strategy and business plan • Good at building models and synthesizing insights and recommendations from research and data.
Starting ASAP; October through January 2024. Can extend into 2024 if there is mutual interest.
Can be remote. If based in Boston would be great, but not necessary.
Professional Fee range
Client did not specify so please share an appropriate rate for this keeping in mind that they're a startup but that they recognize we're a top-tier community
